Senior Pastor – Dr. Chris Weldon

Originally from Athens, GA, Dr. Chris Weldon has spent the past 12 years church planting in the Seattle, WA area and serving with NAMB. Coming to Emerson he is leading the church in the RePlant effort.Chris has a Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from SEBTS.

Connections Pastor – David Blanton

Currently residing in Cartersville, Ga for over a decade, but a native of South Carolina, David has a Masters of Christian Education From SWBTS. He is husband to Alison and the father of 3 children. 

He is a big fan of college sports, music and the outdoors, especially if it involves water. David has a deep, abiding conviction that the truth expressed in Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for He who promised is faithful,” is critical for effectiveness and joy in the Christian life and is available to all who know Jesus.
